1. Acceptance
By using Nino (the "App") or this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use Nino. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
2. What Nino Does
Nino is an on-device scam detection tool. It analyzes SMS messages, caller IDs, and links locally on your iPhone to help you identify potential scams. All processing happens on your device. No message content is transmitted to Nino servers.
3. No Guarantee
Nino provides best-effort scam detection. We cannot guarantee that every scam will be caught or that every flagged message is malicious. Nino is a tool to help you be more vigilant, not a substitute for your own judgment. Always verify suspicious requests independently.
Nino is not liable for any financial loss, identity theft, or other harm resulting from a scam that was not detected by the app.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of Nino
- Use Nino for any unlawful purpose
- Submit false reports or attempt to manipulate the scam detection database
- Resell or redistribute Nino without written permission
5. Philippine Scam Database
The Philippine Scam Database is an optional companion dataset. When available, it augments on-device detection with known scam patterns reported by Filipino users. Submissions to the database are voluntary and become part of a shared community resource. Nino reserves the right to accept, reject, or remove any submission at our discretion.
6. Intellectual Property
The Nino name, mascot, logo, and all app content are the exclusive property of Booyah Digital Services. You may not use them without written permission.
7. Subscriptions (Nino Pro)
Nino offers a free tier and an optional Nino Pro subscription billed through the Apple App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Refunds are handled by Apple per their standard policies.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend access to Nino or the waitlist for any user who violates these terms or engages in abuse of the platform.
9. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Nino after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify waitlist members by email of material changes.
